Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Purple Hat Ventures, LLC (“Purple Hat Ventures,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). They govern your use of Purplecast, Countdown of Trump, Maze Trekker, our websites, and related support services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using a Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Additional terms from Apple, Google, payment providers, or other platforms may also apply to features you use.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 to use them. You must also meet any higher minimum age required by applicable law or the platform through which you access a Service. If you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you and supervise your use of the Services.

Purplecast

Purplecast lets users track TV shows, movies, and video games; save watchlists and game playlists; mark titles watched or played; choose favorites; rate titles and episodes; write and vote on reviews; receive release notifications; and view personal statistics. Some Purplecast features require an account or a paid Purplecast Plus subscription.

Countdown of Trump

Countdown of Trump is an independent educational and civic-reference app. It provides a countdown, term-progress information, key dates, election-calendar context, historical presidential information, and third-party quote content. It is not an official government service, is not affiliated with or endorsed by Donald Trump, any campaign, political party, government agency, or public official, and does not provide legal or political advice.

Maze Trekker

Maze Trekker is a game featuring timed mazes, scores, progress, energy-based play, achievements, leaderboards, optional advertising, and an optional Premium unlock. On supported Apple devices, Maze Trekker may use Game Center for leaderboards and achievements, iCloud for progress syncing, and the App Store for purchases.

We may change, add, suspend, or remove features; adjust game balance, energy rules, scoring, benefits, or content; or stop offering all or part of a Service. We do not guarantee that any particular feature or third-party integration will always be available.

Purplecast requires an account for personalized features. You agree to provide accurate and current information, keep your login credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Countdown of Trump and Maze Trekker do not require a Purple Hat Ventures account. Maze Trekker features may rely on your Apple Account, Game Center profile, iCloud, and App Store entitlements. Your use of those services is governed by your agreement with Apple. You are responsible for your platform account and its security.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to access and use the Services for their intended purposes. This license does not transfer ownership of the Services or any content made available through them.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted by law.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Bypass authentication, paywalls, rate limits, advertising, energy limits, purchase checks, or other technical safeguards.
• Use the Services or their data to build a competing product or for unauthorized commercial purposes.
• Remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, advertising, or other proprietary notices.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purpose.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or violate the rights of another person.
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the security or proper operation of a Service.
• Attempt to access another user's account, private information, or restricted systems without authorization.
• Use bots, scripts, or other automated methods except as expressly allowed by these Terms.
• Manipulate ratings, reviews, helpful votes, leaderboards, achievements, scores, energy, entitlements, ads, or verified status.
• Use cheats, exploits, modified clients, coordinated accounts, or false activity to gain an unfair advantage or misrepresent engagement.

You are responsible for ratings, reviews, votes, avatars, display names, and other content you submit to Purplecast (“User Content”). You represent that you own or have the rights needed to submit your User Content and that it does not violate any law, these Terms, or another person's rights.

Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, explicit, deceptive, infringing, spam, or otherwise harmful. We may review, moderate, reject, limit, or remove User Content and may suspend review posting or account access when we believe content or conduct violates these Terms or creates risk for users or the Services.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant Purple Hat Ventures a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, moderate, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve the Services. This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except where continued retention is required by law, needed for security or dispute resolution, or inherent in backups for a limited period.

Purplecast Plus

Purplecast Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription. It removes Purplecast ads and provides additional benefits such as a verified reviewer badge. Payment is charged through the store where you purchase: Apple's App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android, or RevenueCat Web Billing powered by Stripe on the web.

Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. Apple requires cancellation at least 24 hours before renewal. Manage or cancel through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or through the billing portal linked in Purplecast Settings on the web. Canceling stops future renewals, and paid benefits remain available through the end of the current paid period.

Maze Trekker Premium

Maze Trekker Premium is an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase through Apple's App Store. Premium removes energy limits and banner or forced advertising where offered. Voluntary rewarded-ad benefits may remain available. Premium access depends on a valid App Store entitlement and may be restored using Apple's restore process.

Prices and available benefits are shown before purchase and may vary by platform, country, currency, and taxes. Refunds, billing disputes, cancellations, and purchase restoration are governed by the store or payment provider used for the transaction. Except where required by law or the applicable store's rules, purchases are final. We may change future prices or evolve paid benefits, but changes to an auto-renewing subscription will be handled according to applicable notice and platform requirements.

Free or ad-supported versions of the Services may display advertising. Purplecast uses Google AdMob in its mobile apps and Google AdSense on the web. Countdown of Trump uses Google AdMob in its mobile apps. Maze Trekker may use Google AdMob where advertising is enabled.

Ads may include banners, interstitials, or voluntary rewarded ads. Interstitials may be frequency limited, and any offered reward is subject to the rules shown in the app. You may not block, falsify, manipulate, or interfere with ad delivery, consent choices, impressions, clicks, rewards, or measurement while using an ad-supported tier.

The Services rely on third parties. Purplecast uses providers including Neon, TMDB, IGDB (a Twitch service), OpenAI, Google, RevenueCat, Apple, Google Play, Stripe, Resend, and hosting providers. Countdown of Trump uses Google advertising services and third-party sources for quotes, images, and reference content. Maze Trekker may use Apple Game Center, iCloud, the App Store, and Google advertising services.

Third-party services and content are governed by their providers' terms and policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party availability, conduct, content, security, or accuracy. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. TMDB and IGDB metadata remains subject to the providers' respective terms and may not be extracted from Purplecast for bulk redistribution.

Dates, countdowns, election information, historical material, quotes, media metadata, release dates, ratings, and other reference content may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Countdown of Trump is for general educational and informational purposes. Verify important civic, election, legal, or governmental information with an official source before relying on it.

Maze Trekker scores, progress, saves, leaderboards, achievements, energy, and rewards may be affected by device state, connectivity, software updates, platform services, anti-abuse measures, or technical errors. We may correct or remove invalid results and do not guarantee that local or cloud progress will never be lost.

Search engines, AI assistants, and other automated agents may read public pages in accordance with our robots.txt and other machine-readable instructions. An automated agent acting for a signed-in user may operate that user's own account through the normal interface and remains subject to the same rules as the user.

Automated access must not:

• Bypass authentication, rate limits, paywalls, purchase checks, or technical safeguards.
• Collect other users' personal information or private content.
• Create accounts or submit reviews, ratings, votes, scores, or other activity at scale.
• Scrape or redistribute third-party metadata or other content without authorization.
• Place unreasonable load on, disrupt, or probe the Services.

We may rate limit or block automated traffic that violates these rules.

The Services, including their software, designs, branding, original text, graphics, audio, game content, and other original content, are owned by Purple Hat Ventures or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, trademarks, images, metadata, and content remain the property of their respective owners. No rights are granted except for the limited license expressly stated in these Terms.

If you believe content in a Service infringes your intellectual-property rights, contact us with enough information to identify the work, the allegedly infringing material, and how we can reach you.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Purplecast users may delete their account from Settings. Deleting an account or app does not automatically cancel an active subscription or reverse a platform purchase.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to a Service or account, remove User Content, reset invalid game or engagement activity, or take other reasonable action if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, abuse the Services, or if a Service is discontinued. Where appropriate, we may provide notice, but we may act immediately when necessary to protect users, third parties, or the Services.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and shared across Purplecast, Countdown of Trump, Maze Trekker, and our websites. By using the Services, you acknowledge those practices. You can submit applicable access, correction, deletion, opt-out, restriction, or objection requests through our Privacy Choices page.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT DEFECTS OR DATA LOSS WILL BE CORRECTED.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PURPLE HAT VENTURES AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR USE; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THIRD-PARTY CONTENT OR SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES ARE POSSIBLE.

THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. THEY DO NOT LIMIT LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer protection rights you may have under the mandatory laws of your place of residence.

We may update these Terms as the Services, platform rules, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above indicates when the latest version took effect. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where required. Your continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Services.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. These Terms and the policies they reference are the entire agreement between you and us concerning the Services, except for any additional terms that expressly apply to a particular feature or platform.
